Planning a visit to Monte Cassino, Anzio, or exploring the Italian Campaign (1943–1945)?

Each battlefield experience is privately arranged and conducted directly by me.

A full-day tour (approximately 6 hours) is recommended in order to properly understand the operational context, terrain, and historical development of the battle. These are in-depth, structured visits — not brief overviews.

Extended itineraries, multi-day battlefield studies, and broader campaign-focused journeys may also be arranged upon request.

Advance notice is required, as each experience involves individual historical preparation and itinerary design.

All tours are conducted in English.

Starting Locations

Tours generally begin at:

• Cassino Railway Station (Monte Cassino sector)
• Anzio Railway Station (Anzio–Nettuno sector)

Alternatively, pick-up at your accommodation or hotel within the tour area may be arranged upon request.

If you are staying outside the immediate battlefield sector, please indicate your location in your inquiry so that appropriate arrangements can be discussed.

If Retracing a Family Veteran’s Path

Please include:

• Veteran’s full name
• Regiment / Division / Unit (if known)
• Dates in Italy (if available)
• Any relevant documents you may wish to share

Even limited information is often sufficient to reconstruct a meaningful operational context.

If Following a Specific Division or Campaign Phase

Please indicate:

• Division or regiment of interest
• Battle, sector, or operational focus
• Type of visit (operational study, commemorative, multi-day itinerary, etc.)

Tours are normally private and designed exclusively for your family or group.

In certain cases, if a similar historical focus has been requested for the same date, a small shared arrangement (maximum 6 participants) may be proposed.

Each experience includes:

• Private Mercedes van
• Dedicated professional driver (the driver remains with the vehicle throughout the day)
• Onboard multimedia system with wartime footage, operational maps, and “then & now” comparisons
• Refrigerated water, soft drinks, and light refreshments
• Historical preparation in advance of your visit

You will receive a detailed response within 24 hours outlining availability and the proposed structure of your private battlefield experience.
