Monte Cassino Memorial days for 2024 At the moment, these are the official ceremonies confirmed for the the 80th anniversary, for the Allied Forces, held at the Cassino war cemeteries:
- 18th May at 2 pm Ceremony of remembrance at the Commonwealth Cemetery held by the Monte Cassino Society
- 18th May 2024 at 5 pm Ceremony at the Polish Cemetery*
- 19th May 2024 in the morning ceremony organized by the British Embassy in Rome
On the 75th anniversary cars and buses were not allowed to drive up to Montecassino but there were shuttle buses organized by the Municipality of Cassino and big screens outside the cemetery to watch the ceremony.
